Planning 2/6 - 2/11

I'm a little late on sharing my plan for the week, but that is in part due to not starting the week with a concrete plan.

Dangerous, I know.

The last few weeks have been more of a challenge to balance everything. Mainly because we've been swamped at work, leading me to stay until 5/5:30 most nights. When it gets dark by 5:30 combined with my paranoia with running in the dark, it's just not a good combination!! So my plans have been lacking detail to say the least.

With that said, I have been trying to make sure I fit in my strength and cross training sessions because I don't know when I will definitely get to run. It is not an ideal amount of cardio, but I am still seeing progress so I find it hard to complain. With any luck (which I won't bet on) the mild winter we are having will lead to an early spring and weather and daylight won't be an issue for long.

With my second evaluation report meeting in as many weeks next Tuesday, I am not expecting this week to be a "get home in time to run" sort of week. So, by doubling up on workouts a few times, my goal is to get 7 Active workouts on Kinect done before we leave for St. Cloud on Friday. It will be tough, I know, but so worth the results.

On a side note, with the next three weekends booked I am trying to shift my mind frame. Typically I view the weekend as a chance to make up missed workouts and fit in extra ones. But with weekends planned out, I will need to maintain the ability to get it done through the week. How do you switch up your planning to account for scheduling changes?
