Time for an Update

First up: the week of the 7th my goal was to get in 7 workouts using the XBox Active. I think I ended up with 4. Not bad, I guess. I can say that while the overall number of workouts was down, the length and intensity of those four were much harder than most other workouts I've done in that program. So, there was a little checks and balance!


In my last post, I mentioned my jeans were feeling bigger in the waist. I wasn't imagining it! I have since been able to fit into a size smaller!! They are not quite completely comfortable, but progress is progress and I am feeling good about that!


Last week was a bummer week. For two weeks I was having issues with feeling sick every time I ate, and only when I ate. I think this had a lot to do with my energy levels at night, and the fact that I just wasn't staying up at night to workout. It is was it is.


Somehow, I am down another two pounds. It feels good to be losing based mainly on diet. Total loss since January 1 is 5.6 pounds. Hoping for a good kick in progress once I get back into running mode.


Lastly, this week I am again focusing on strength and cross training, though hoping to fit in a run - or at least a walk, too. Monday I doubled up on workouts for a total of 65 minutes. Hoping for another two for one tonight.
