I had 5 goals set for the month of April; I will say up front I did not reach all of them. I will also say that I still feel great about this month. It was one of the best I've had in a while.
Goal 1: get back to a stricter diet. It is hard to say if I reached this or not. I did not do any counting of calories like I had planned on. I also don't feel like I did much excess picking ...
Goal 2: strenghth train. I did not follow through with developing a strenghth training plan.
Goal 3: put in 10-15 miles per week. Done! I did 11.6 (+ two swimming workouts) 16.1, 10.4, and 11.8 for a total of 49.9 miles! A great consistency building month for me.
Goal 4: finish the 5k in 36 minutes or less. I already posted about that. I will take my 36:25 and say goal reached!
Goal 5: lose 5 pounds. I yo-yo'd a bit at the end here, and finished with a net loss of just -2. Still down 11 since January. I am happy with the forward progress, but cant help being a bit disappointed.
April, its been fun.
Ready for May.
