| from the start, I ran over to the first leg if you will. She was tired, but hanging in there. She told me to run with her at this point! |

| I don't think she was happy with me when I kept going ahead of her. It was to get pictures, push her a little to keep running, and trying to give her the satisfaction of doing it by herself like she wanted. |

| She was so excited that I let her get a Nathan water bottle like mine (but smaller). She insisted on carrying it with her like I do on my long runs. |

| This picture was shared on their facebook page this summer; I was so shocked to open the 2015 Mankato Marathon guide and see her picture on the KidsK page! What a doll! I am really sad that I can't find the book! I hope it is tucked away in one of my bags and not left behind in the hotel room! |

She's so cute! I love that she carried her water bottle with her. My daughter likes to have her own water bottle when we run too.
