October Goals

I was almost ready to post these the middle of last week; but then had the hardest time coming up with some goals. I suppose I could have just went with fewer goals, but somehow that didn't seem right!

Considering it is better to be late than never; here are the goals for this month:


1. Work out. Period. I am not setting a specific mileage goal. I am not stating how many times I want to cross-train. I just want to rebuild the consistency I didn't have last month. That's it.


2. Lost 3 pounds. After losing nothing more last month, I don't know how this one will turn out. I just want to hit the -30 pounds mark. Is that really to much to ask?


3. Save $100. For whatever reason, I am feeling the pressure to tighten up on our budget. We spend more than we realize on the weekends, and it is time to monitor where our money is going a bit better. With that said, I am hoping to put $100 into savings.


4. Pick one area of the house to completely declutter. As I was going through the house tonight room by room picking up, I was once again reminded how much the little piles of clutter drive be bonkers! I am not a neat freak, and I am not good at cleaning religiously. But when I do clean, I strive for perfection. (leads to a lot of unnecessary conflict!) And these piles ... they keep me from that!


5. Go to bed earlier, get up earlier. Hoping if I can get into a habit of giving myself even 15-30 minutes in the morning to get something done, I won't feel so pressed for time in the evening. Which will then help me with goal number one. For this to happen, I need to stop staying up until after 11. So, seeing as though it is 10:20 right now, I am off to bed after this is posted!
