Weekly Plan

Can't believe we are heading into week 9 of the training plan!

Here's the plan ....

  • Monday: Run 4 miles; abs
    Tuesday: Bike 30 minutes, Run 20 minutes, Strength train
  • Wednesday: Run 3 miles @goal pace, Strength train
  • Thursday: Rest
  • Friday: Bike 20 minutes, Run 20 minutes, Elliptical 20 minutes, abs
  • Saturday: Run 5 miles, abs

I'm actually a little torn on what to do Wednesday.
I know this last week after a similar set of workouts like I plan to do Monday-Tuesday, I was fatigued.
I don't want to put in an extra run, if it should be an extra rest day or cross training day,
And yet, I want to increase my mileage.
So - I am just going to feel it out, and see how it goes.

I know I am coming off one of my better weeks as of late,
and I plan to keep on going!

Be careful not to push yourself too much. I try not to increase my mileage by more than 10% each week, total between all of my runs. It can be so hard to hold back, but your cross-training looks great so that should help.
