Let the Training Begin

Time to hit the treadmill.

Tomorrow is the first day of my training plan leading up to the Earth Day Half-Marathon Relay.

Week 1 plan:
  • Monday - Run an easy 2 miles.
  • Wednesday - Run 5 miles - including 3 miles at tempo.
  • Saturday - Run 6 miles. (Saturdays will be my long run days)

In addition to the planned runs - I plan to incorporate two Core workouts. I love my Reebok stay ball and the video that came with it that really targets those most troubled areas.

And maybe, just maybe, I'll do a little weight training with the Monday run.

But for that to happen, I better get to bed.
