Feeling behind seeing as though we are over half way through the first week and I just now finished up my list of goals. I had a really hard time coming up with new goals that haven't been set before ...
The first two are automatic - work outs and weight loss.
1. Run 87 miles, plus cross train 6 times. This equals four runs a week, plus a rotation between one and two cross training days a week. I am already feeling a bit deflated with this goal considering it is already Thursday, and I have sat in the "I just finished a half-marathon" seat for a bit longer than I would like. We shall see what the next 24 days hold!
2. Lose 1.8 pounds. I would like to lose more, but 1.8 pounds will bring to a total 30 pounds gone since January. Really want to hit that milestone this month! I dropped a few pounds after last weekends race, and the yo-yo'ed back up. Hoping that doesn't put this goal out of reach.
And the rest of them:
3. Join the YMCA. I am not against putting the same goal on the list two months in a row! I really want to get to the Y and get all the membership info. Need to be ready to go when the weather changes!
4. Buy a good moisturizer. I am not one to have a bunch of beauty steps in my morning or night time routines. Never have. But lately I have noticed my face being extra dry, and I can see some wrinkles forming in my forehead - especially from squinting or raising my eyebrows. Any suggestions?
5. Track one week of calories in and calories burned. I will likely use Spark People, because that is what has worked for me in the past. Now that I am done training for the half and my workouts have the potential to change slightly, I want to know where I am sitting!
6. I usually stick to just five wellness goals each month, but I really do need to call the eye doctor. SO, I will put it on the list one more time!
Not the most exciting list of goals, but necessary ones regardless.
What is on your agenda for the month?
