| This came in the mail last week; just in time for my upcoming birthday! |

| What I did Friday afternoon! I had thought about it, and finally did it. The seven footprints represent the seven fertility treatments we've done over the years, the verse is one that reminds me that there is a reason that I don't understand, and that is Ava's name in her handwriting! This was about an hour after it was finished; it looks slightly better now. For the longest time afterwards I was very critical of it, and wished I had been more critical of the sketch that I immediately fell in love with. Now that it's been a day (as I write this), I am falling in love with it - imperfections and all! |
Friends of our moved back from Texas, so we went to grill out and visit Saturday night. Before we left, we lit off some "Texas" fireworks. The video is the greatest, but it was a fun evening!

| Didn't quite hit my time goal, but it was my longest run in almost a year! I was so hot and sweaty when I got home, I stripped down to my sports bra and underwear, splashed myself with some hose water, and waded in Ava's pool. |

So other than grilling out, running, and getting a tattoo, the weekend has been business as usual. Laundry, grocery shopping, a run to Wal-Mart. Time to go clean the kitchen so we can actually find the counters to make supper!
