I am probably more excited than I should be for the fall TV line-up to be starting! Case in point ...
1. NFL Football - even though the Packers started with a loss (it was against Seattle, but still - a better overall performance would have been appreciated!), I couldn't be more thrilled that the games are back on! I did a pretty good job not getting sucked into all the games on Sunday! I did stay up too late watching the Colts-Broncos game though! The next 16 weeks are going to be fun, minus the 7 weeks I won't get to watch the Packers because of scheduling conflicts with the Vikings. Oh how I wish I lived in WI still!
2. Sons of Anarchy. After two years of watching consistently, I still can't believe I actually watch this show. There are some good underlying messages, but the sex, violence, and language is not my usual thing in a TV show. Somehow I got hooked though, and I am not missing the final season. It starts tonight!! And last season ended on quite the cliff hanger. I've thought about going back and watching from Season 1, but I'm not sure I will ever actually do that.
3. Lastly, Biggest Loser. Their new season starts on Thursday. It's going to be on at 7, which means I won't actually get to watch much since it interferes with my Tuesday/Thursday kettle bells class. I love the show, but not quite that much. I guess that means the bonus is that I figured out this summer you can get primetime shows on On Demand!
4. And a bonus number 4 - Chicago Fire, Law and Order SVU and Chicago PD all start the week of September 22. Chicago Fire I really got into last winter after SOA was over. That's going to be a reeeallly tough choice for me on Tuesday nights for awhile! Especially because Chicago Fire also ended on a cliff hanger ... the other two I like, but they are both on Wednesdays. That is two hours of TV - in one night! I'll watch what I can during those cold winter months mostly!
I realize this post makes me sound like a couch potato, TV snob. I'm not! Honest. Still the 9:00 hour on TV has a tendency to pull me in instead of going to bed early. And there are other shows I just like to watch. Are there better things to do to end my night? Yeah, but relaxing and escaping to someone else's world isn't always bad!

Do you have shows you love to watch? After a day at the "office" (wherever that is for you), spending sometime with the family, and working out - how do you like to end your day?
