.feeling oddly content with going back to work full-time next week; I think it is just time to get back into a normal schedule.

.also feeling extremely blessed to have had this summer off, travel to near-by places as much as we did, and spend the extra time with my Ava. I don't know if I've ever shared my story of college years and changed majors, but this summer made me wish I would have finished with my teaching license right away and been experiencing summers off a lot longer! :)  Not that I regret where I've been or what I've done.

.considering I really want to PR at the half in October, I am a little bummed with how running has gone the last two weeks. I am going to miss my August mileage goal by quite a bit. Still have two months to train though, so just needing to go with the flow.

.preparing for one last summer fling; another camping weekend! Excited to get our pop-up out one more time and spend a few more days relaxing and enjoying my little family. So far weather forecast says hot and humid with a chance of rain - hope we don't have to deal with terrible weather all weekend!

.hoping to catch up on household chores before we leave for the weekend! As good as I did most of the summer staying on top of cleaning, the last two weeks have been busy and I've fallen behind. Would love to start back to work with a clean house!

.having mixed emotions about the fact that my little girl starts "Kindergarten Prep" (pre-school!) in less than two weeks! I hope we are ready for that change.

.thinking a lot about what my schedule is going to look like with going back to work, and about how I am going to maintain this personal balance I've felt all summer - balancing being a good mom, wife, runner! I've always been a working mom, so it's nothing new, but this summer has me feeling so much more centered. Hoping it can carry through!

.excited that the start of the NFL season is two weeks from tonight; and that my beloved Green Bay Packers play that night!

.deciding whether or not to sign up for a 10k the first weekend in September and travel to St. Cloud to visit friends. The choice should be obvious, but not sure where I stand on starting our fall weekends with more travels after such a busy summer. I sort of feel like a couple of weeks to wind down and fall into a normal schedule is the better choice. Just hate missing out on opportunities to visit friends ... and a race?!!?

.pretty sure I have the bathroom all decorated in my head, and hoping to spend some time Labor Day weekend getting another room crossed off the list! I need paint, a rug, towels, and a picture for the wall.
