Today is my birthday. My 34th birthday to be exact. :)
For the past few years, I have celebrated birthday's with lists of things I wanted to do. At 28, I even had a list of 24 things I wanted to do before I turned 30 twenty-four months later. I don't always complete the list, but it is something to strive for and to keep me driven. Last year, I couldn't come up with 33 things. I ended up with roughly 14, that I turned into a 14 in 2014 list.
I will keep working on them and in fact many are duplicated; but also made a list for 34. It does not have 34 things on it. It has twenty, but all have 3, 4, 34 (approx. 3 times a month), or 340 (approx. 28 per month!) related to them. Always thinking big!
This year, I want to:
. read 34 books
. register for 3 classes towards my Master's degree
. write 340 blog posts (can you handle me 28 times a month? I better get more exciting, huh?)
. make it to church 34 weeks
. volunteer 4 times
. put a minimum of an extra $340 in savings
. cook 4 new recipes
. donate 34 items
. complete 3 DIY projects around the house
. engage in 34 random (or not) acts of kindness
. finish 34 scrapbook pages
. plan 3 girls' nights/weekends with friends or my sisters
. go on 4 creative, fun dates with Chad
. have 4 mommy/daughter dates with Ava
. try 3 new group fitness classes (or at least ones I haven't been to in awhile)
. lose 34 pounds
. walk Max 340 miles
. run 3 100 mile months
. do 34 push-ups at one time!
. take another 3 inches off my stomach
There you have it. Wouldn't those accomplishments make this year one of the best yet!
I will elaborate on each one a little more when I post about progress!

Do you set goal's on or around your birthday, or are you more of a New Year's Resolution person? Maybe neither?
How do you celebrate birthdays? For Chad and I, we don't do much! A card, and maybe a dinner out. We went out on Sunday with his parents, and today was business as usual. Tomorrow, we are planning a round of golf! Make that 1/4 dates in the next year! ;)

Happy birthday! I love birthdays :) Great list of things to do, I don't think I have ever done that.
