I will post last week's update a little later. For now, I leave you with this.
Mankato Half-Marathon: Training Week 4 - (the plan)
Monday: 5 miles and strength training
Tuesday: 7 miles and strength training
Wednesday: 6x400 and strength training
Thursday: cross-training and strength training
Friday: 12 miles (moving to Friday from the weekend since we are camping this weekend. One last summer fling!)
Saturday: Hiking - there is a 4 mile "challenging" hike at the park I want to do, but we'll see how the weekend is going. I don't think it is one that we will be able to bring Ava on!
Sunday: Rest
This week is a little different than normal because the Y is closed for it's annual cleaning week. All of the strength training and cross training I typically do is out of the question. My plan is to keep up with my runs, maybe get my bike out for some miles, and do some strength work from pinned workouts.
