Catching Up

Just a quick (late) post to wrap up a few daily happenings before the sharing of the holiday celebrations begins! Seriously though, how are is it already Christmas?

 

First up - as promised, the ornaments we picked for 2015. Our family one is a picture frame; I think I will put the picture from before Ava's Sunday School performance in here, but maybe I will get a better one either this week or next. Ava picked a singing Frosty the Snowman. She picked it in the store much faster than I would have anticipated. I think she liked that it sings to her, and she is a little obsessed with that song this year. If I had to guess I'd say it is because they danced to that song at her holiday stage show for dance. 

 

Friday afternoon we got just enough snow for her to enjoy it!

After finishing up Christmas shopping this weekend, it was time to get some presents under the tree. These are the ones to bring home to my side! Always fun to give .... as well as get! :)

Sunday afternoon we went and did our annual gift exchange with these two. Technically they are Chad's cousin's kids. However, we just call them Ava's cousins, and they are the closest family to us on that side. They are the only family we have in town, and Ava sure loves these boys!

The last couple of trips to my mom and dad's house, Ava has gotten to help grandma with the bird feeders. We also got my mom a new bird feeder for Christmas, but Ava wanted one, too. So, posing with her new bird feeder! Hope she gets to see some birds!

Monday and Tuesday have been whirlwind days at work, but I am officially on break. I have 12 days off, and will be gone for most of them visiting family. It is worth it though. I will also finish grades and write my IEPs. I know January is going to be hectic, so I really need to go in on January 4th caught up!

I totally had more to add to this post - related to workouts - which have been slim this last week - but fell asleep last night once I got to this point. I deleted a bunch of random key strokes, and am posting!
