I let her put makeup on for the performance; look at those lashes!
posing in the gym before the show started.
she is in a class of 4, but one didn't come to the show. Sometimes I wish she was in the larger group, but I also like the small group. Positives and negatives to both!
The video. I finally realized I could put the larger videos on here by putting them on you tube first. Duh!

So I am home from work today, which is why I get to finish the post I started last night! Ava was up super early this morning and dressed in her pajamas by 6:30 - most days I am begging her to finish getting dressed at 7! - she was so excited for Polar Express day at school. However, she mentioned to me about five minutes before we left that her stomach was hurting ... mother's intuition told me I'd be getting a call. Sure enough. 8:30 they called to tell me she had puked! :( Apparently chocolate milk at breakfast was too much. Although they also said that strep is going around, and the kids aren't getting fevers or sore throats ... just a stomach bug. Interesting. I may take her in to get tested, but am also planning on letting her get some rest and relaxation (she is currently playing Barbies quietly in her room). I am also hoping to use it as a day to get some paperwork done, and since I am home maybe sneak in a run when Chad gets home! It is beautiful for December!
In the workout world -
Monday was a planned rest day. I've planned Monday's as rest days for right now because they seem to be one of our busier nights of the week.
Tuesday I went to ... kettle bells! Our regular instructor was gone, and so then it always feels like a different intensity level. It was still a good workout though. We did some swings, lunges, rows, squats, core work, and continued to work on building up to a 3:00 plank before the holidays.
Here's to hump day! Where are these weeks going? Time sure is flying lately.
