.though I did just order pictures to give away with school pictures, so I just have to pick them up, along with a few frames! This is the same picture we used for our Christmas cards.

.it is the week of birthday's in my family! Monday the 14th was my brother-in-law's birthday (younger sister's husband), Wednesday was my (twin) sister's oldest daughter's birthday, and tomorrow is my brother's youngest daughter's birthday. Plus, the 20th is my (twin) sister and her husband's 12th anniversary!

.I know I saw this every month, but December 17th already? Wasn't I JUST in awe of it being December!??!
.Still loving my Christmas tree (and falling asleep to the glow of the lights, because I rarely make it to bed before falling asleep, but super disappointed that the top 1/4 of my lights went out!
.Officially done with my first semester of finishing my master's. Too bad I failed miserably and will have to re-take the class. :( I am a little frustrated though because an e-mail I got from her last week indicated that she was done taking late work, so I more or less quite trying to salvage it and earn a passing grade. Then in an e-mail she sent today, it said she'd accept outstanding work up until 6pm tonight but that was it. It is what it is, and even though I am disappointed in myself, lesson learned! I will do better going forward! I have to ...
.really hoping I can get a run in this weekend. I have a feeling my days of snow free paths and sidewalks are limited. We are in MN afterall.
.also feeling optimistic that the Packers will beat Oakland on Sunday and clinch a playoff berth!
.speaking of football, in my first season of fantasy, I've been up and down. This past week, I jumped three places to 5th place. Although there are five of us (I think) with 7-7 records, I can only assume that means I was holding the tie breakers. This is the last weekend of play before the top four teams move into playoffs! I hope I win this weekend and have a chance! I don't know how wins and losses amongst the 7-7 teams will factor into tie breakers, so I am not sure how confident I actually feel. I'll keep you posted!
.Can't lie. Even though I am dreading the fact that I still have a ton on my to-do list, I am counting down the three school days left until break! Bring on 12 days off! It is going to be a busy one, but tis the season!
