Here's how the week shaped up:
Monday: started with Cycle Box in the morning, followed by a 4.79 mile run in the evening. I would have gone a bit further, but Ava started gymnastics, which went until 5:45, and there was a miscommunication about supper between Chad and I. As soon as I finished eating, I headed out and did what I could fit in. It was a decent run, too.

Tuesday: I did a cycling class in the afternoon; but had to skip kettle bells due to Ava's t-ball game.
Wednesday: I fit in TRX while Ava was at gymnastics, and afterwards got in a 4.26 mile run. I was happy it was another run with average paces under 13. That seems so slow to me, but I am doing what I can, and what feels comfortable right now. I've slowly increased my run intervals to 2:30, but continue to keep my walk intervals at 1:00.

Thursday: we headed up north for a weekend of camping! I planned for it to be a rest day due to the traveling with the notion that if I fit in an evening run or hike - so be it. I had the time to get it in, but making supper and having my in-laws come out to the campground to visit made me decide to just skip in.
Friday: Instead of running by myself, I took our friend up on the offer to hike with me. We walked/hiked a total of 4 miles. It took us slightly over an hour and twenty minutes, but that counted the times we stopped to look around, get rocks out of our shoes, check out an eagle's nest, etc. Would I have enjoyed a run? Absolutely. Was the time spend with friends worth it? Without a doubt. The afternoon was spent at the lake, with a visit to the campground by some more friends.
Saturday: Chad and Mason were going to golf in a tournament, so I knew if I was going to run it had to be early or late. I was actually awake at 6:30, and Chad was leaving at 7:30 - but I opted to roll over and go back to sleep! Did I feel good about that? Not necessarily. The highlight of the day was getting to go with our friends in their kayaks! So at least I got in an arm workout!
Sunday: another planned travel/rest day. And I clearly ate too many sunflower seeds in the car, which must've led to some water retention. Monday's weigh in was not pretty.

Totals (after a strong beginning, and less than stellar weekend):
2 runs for 9:05 miles
3 cross-training/group fitness classes
Time Training: 4:01:02, plus a 4 mile hike and 1+ hours of kayaking

What do you do to stay on track while out of town on weekends? Do you enjoy your weekend away, or keep to a strict schedule?
