Instead of a run outside, or even on the treadmill, it started with a run to the clinic.
But, the baby is on an antibiotic. And hopefully we can kick this cold for good.
Today, I was determined to get in a workout.
And with the slightest hint of spring in the air, I decided to do an outside run.
I have no doubt both my distance and my time would have better on the treadmill,
but few things beat a good dose of fresh air.
So ...
I ran for the first time since my shin splints.
I ran outside for the first time since our sneak peak of spring in early February.
I ran and pushed the jogging stroller since last summer/fall!!
Distance was 2.5 miles.
Time was 33.40
Equaling a pace of about 13.47/mile.
Not too shabby.
Now, to look forward to obstacle free days ahead.
(A girl can hope.)
And take today and keep on running!
