Not Bad, for a Monday.

I love days off! LOVE them.
But they do play havoc with a person's schedule, don't they?

I wanted to get up and going right away this morning.
But, like Saturday, I get busy with Ava and cleaning and life ....
and while I don't like going in the midst of the day,
I did make myself go!

I did my 3 miles as planned.
I didn't want to drag it out, but I also wasn't focused on speed.
So, I set my pace at a comfortable 12:30.
Now, if I do the math - that should be a total time of 37:30.
And, yet, when the distance ticked to 3.00, the time read 37:08??
I guess that's why I don't always feel the treadmill is super accurate!
Either way, goal met!

The run felt good.
I have been feeling a little pain on the inside of my leg, by the ankle.
Not while running, but after.
I was going to ice it when I got home, but never did.
It feels fine now though!

I did about 15 minutes of ab work:
some crunches with my legs on the ball, some weighted side bends, and some crunches sitting on the ball.

Then about 15 minutes of upper body work:
4 different exercises - 2 sets each - all free weights.
I stuck with what I knew; though still wanting to find something different!

Nothing spectacular.
Just a simple, Monday workout.
