The icky part first -
Today's weigh-in. 184.6
Seriously? I am getting so frustrated.
I get that I took extra rest days. I get that we ate out twice over the weekend.
I also realize I need to start remembering to take my thyroid medication every day. I don't know why that has become an issue. But all that aside I have been working my butt off, and I don't know why I keep yo-yo-ing in the weight department.
Thankfully, I am smart enough to know that the number on the scale is a small (albeit important) part of this journey. And the improvements I am making in my running, stress control, and diet mean more than a number.
Still, stats at this point are: +2.8 for the week. +1.2 for the month. -4.9 for the year.

This mornings workout:
Although I set out to run 4; I ran 3 and called it a day. Time was 39:12. This is just over a 13 minute mile, which is the pace I wanted to run the 4 at - so I'm good with that.
I was feeling sluggish, and my legs were heavy.
And while I could totally argue a point for pushing through to reach the mileage goal, today it just made sense to cut the run a tad short.
To compensate for time I didn't run, I did some ab work:
50 crunches sitting on the ball.
30 side bends per side using the ball.
2x30sec planks
2x15sec side planks (per side)
Not great. Not terrible.
Happy Tuesday.
