Getting Back
Last night, I wanted to test things outside without pushing the jogging stroller! I started at the gym and first did some strength training. 2 sets of each of these: 15 squats 12 bicep curls with overhead presses 25 weighted side bends - left and right 12 tricep extensions 12 gluteal presses - left and right 30 crunches Then, I changed into different clothes and headed out for an outdoor run! I used www.mapmyrun.com to measure out a 3.8 mile route that started and ended at the gym. There were definitely spots I felt like I could give more. And there were spots where I felt like I had nothing more to give. In the end, I think I gave my best effort. I forgot my stop watch at home, but checked the time before and after I left. Total time was about 51 minutes; giving me a 13.42min/mile pace. Up tonight: yoga and ab work!
